Career Connections strongly supports the Structured Workplace
Learning (SWL) component of Vocational Education and Training (VET)
or Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL).
An SWL placement gives students the opportunity to apply their
learning in a real work environment. Students are often offered
part time or casual work with the employer after undertaking their
SWL placement.
We provide Information Sessions for students at schools who are
undertaking VET or VCAL. The Information Session advises students
how to approach employers and seek placements within business
and industry.
The Career Connections LCP provides numerous resources to
students, schools and employers as a support for the programme.
